Meet Dr. John Crocker

Education

Dr. Crocker joined Jackson Radiology Associates in 2002 and currently serves as President and Medical Director of JRA. He attended the University of the South and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine (1991) and completed his Internship and Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center followed by a Fellowship at the University of Florida (1998 ). At Eisenhower Army Medical Center, he served as Chief of the Interventional Section and as a Diagnostic Radiologist (1998-2002) .

Clinical Interest

Dr. Crocker is certified by the American Board of Radiology with added qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His clinical interest is in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Crocker specializes in the treatment of Peripheral Vascular Arterial Disease (angioplasty and stenting), Embolotherapy (cutting off blood supply to tumors) , Venous access, emergent intra-arterial Stroke Therapy, complications of Portal Hyertension , Vertebroplasty (treatment of osteoporosis related compression fractures of the spine), non-invasive Vascular Imaging (to include CT coronary angiography), and Uterine Fibroid Embolization.

Personal Bio

Outside of his professional setting, his interests include golf and spending time with his wife and three children.
